Yaimara Diaz, a Virtual Navigator with Insure GA, a Non-profit organization that assists Georgians finding their health coverage options through the Health Insurance Marketplace will offer an enrollment event. This is a free event and the information will be presented in an unbiased and culturally-sensitive manner.

Celebrate the Holidays in Braselton
Parade, Holiday Market, Music & Lighting of the Tree Ceremony
10am - 7pm
Downtown Braselton

Festivities are planned throughout the day to include a holiday shopping marketplaces, the Town's very popular parade, visits with Santa, the Town's traditional Lighting of the Tree ceremony and more! 

The Annual Parade
The parade will pass through Historic Downtown Braselton beginning at 10:30am and will feature local high school marching bands, floats, classic cars, tractors and animal entries. This year's theme is "Christmas Around the World." The parade starts at Braselton Tech Center and travels down Hwy. 53 toward Downtown.

The Holiday Market
A Holiday Market with retail and food vendors will surround the Town Green from 10am to 7pm for shoppers to visit throughout the day.

Santa
Children will be delighted to peek inside the North Pole tent and meet with Santa. Parents are asked to bring their own cameras for picture taking opportunities. The tent will be located on the patio next to Braselton Town Green off of Davis Street (behind Cotton Calf Kitchen).

Performances
Community groups will be performing at the gazebo on the town green during the day.
11am - 12pm – JoyAnna - Singer/Musician
12pm - 1pm – Pickxen - Singer/Songwriter
1pm - 2pm – Alicats Dance - Dance group
2pm - 4pm – Yargo Community Band
5pm - Traditional Tree Lighting Ceremony begins

The Traditional Tree Lighting Ceremony
At 5pm, the Braselton Rotary Club will host the Lighting the Tree ceremony, a tradition that dates back to the 1920's. The event will be filled with special musical selections, introductions, history of the event, and of course a special visitor will magically light the tree.

Shop Sidewalk Sales
Be sure to walk around Downtown and visit all of our wonderful shops and restaurants. Some will offer sidewalk sales, promotions and activities.
Elements Say Spa & Marketplace - Sidewalk Sale
Sweet Delights Bakery - Open early and selling coffee, hot chocolate, scones and goodies for parade

Vintage Market
Countryside Antiques, at 115 on Harrison Street, will be hosting an outdoor vintage market in their lot with 15-20 vendors and a food truck or two.

Kids Activities
Wildflower Market on Frances Street will have a Bouncy House, Face Painter for the kiddos, and Sidewalk Sales too!

Businesses display decorated trees and compete for viewer's vote during this Town-wide event.

Braselton Library Porch Sale Fundraiser
Location: Braselton Library
15 Brassie Lane, Downtown Braselton
10:30am-2:00pm (no early sales)

The Friends of the Braselton-West Jackson Library is sponsoring a large Porch Sale (cash only) on Saturday, December 2 from 10:30 am (No Early Sales) to 2:00 pm.

All proceeds will be donated by the Friends organization to the Braselton Library.

Items for sale are everything from kitchen wares to years of collecting unique and one of a kind treasures including: Longaberger baskets, Vintage items (such as grandmother's very old woven laundry basket, picnic baskets, pie carriers), Seasons Bay Village pieces, Hummels, crystal, sewing machine, cow bells, hand painted porcelain items from many foreign countries, Antiques, party decor, lovely table top books, home decor, Christmas items and so much more.

The Porch Sale will be held rain or shine (It will be cancelled only if severe ice is predicted and the Library is closed). Many sale items will also be in the Library’s conference room.

Bring your own bubble wrap and bags (some will be provided). No checks, credit or debit cards accepted.

You will find that perfect something you cannot live without or the gift for the one on your list that has everything! Plus, your purchases will support our wonderful Braselton Library.

Friends of the Braselton-West Jackson Library members may sign up in AFTERWORDS Store to help set-up, be cashiers and clean-up.

4th Annual Chocolate Walk in Downtown Braselton
10am-4pm
Braselton Main Street invites you to join us for a fun stroll through Downtown Braselton on Saturday, February 3rd from 10am to 4pm for our 4th annual Chocolate Walk. At each stop along the Chocolate Walk, collect a chocolate treat from each business participating! Chocolate will come in many forms so grab a group of friends or plan a date with your sweetheart and let us treat you while you shop! Contact apinnell@braselton.net to purchase tickets.
